This Unity ceremony can be as simple as a decorative metal or wooden carved tree with branches that you can hang wishes onto. Maybe small wooden hearts, that guests can write their wishes onto and then can be attached with wire. 

If you prefer you can have a real tree, that can be planted by you both, that each of your guests can place little cards on with their wishes for your future together. You can nurture your tree and have a living reminder of your special occasion shared with special family and friends. Read more about this in the Green Ceremony section.

You could even have a carved box with discs or hearts for your guests to write their wishes for your future on and then place them inside the box. Whenever you want to look back and remember, just open your wishing box and reminisce.
